2006 - 2007 Schedule (Tentative)

Animated fiddle player and vocalist Stephanie Ann brought down the house last January with her virtuoso renditions. From The Devil Went Down to Georgia to Amazing Grace and even classical masterpieces, this was one masterful performance!

For $12, country music fans get an evening of entertainment headlined by some of the pioneers of country music, with a supporting lineup of rising local stars.

Hernando County song stylist,Jenny Rimmer, gets up close and personal with the audience as she belts out a Kitty Wells favorite.

Up-and-coming performers from surrounding counties also will be taking the stage at the 1914 Plant City High School Community Center this year, including Brian Chytka and Jenny Rimmer of Hernando County and Mo Harrington and the Manatee River Boys.

This year's Opry season will see the return of Stephanie Ann, Jenny Rimmer, Ken McWilliams and The Nashville Band and many other favorites from previous years.

The Opry runs monthly from October through April and coincides with the influx of winter visitors. It is popular with senior citizens and anyone who likes country, blue grass and gospel music. People come from as far as Tarpon Springs and Avon Park for a night of great entertainment with old-time country stars.

General admission tickets can be purchased for $12.00 at the door of the community center at 605 N. Collins St. -- or in advance at Family and Friends Antiques and Collectibles, 1304 S. Collins St.

Season Tickets are only $125.00. Reserved seats are available for $15.00. Call Master of Ceremonies and Producer, Myrle Henry at (813) 752-4094 for information or to purchase tickets. Because seats are limited, reserved seat tickets must be purchased by the Thursday prior to the performance.
